4.10.2 Holding a Pilot’s Licence

2. NZ Aircraft operating Outside NZ
  • Current New Zealand Pilot's Licence; or
  • Current Pilot's Licence for country in which  aircraft operates usually
  • Current Foreign Pilot License authority and a validation permit.
  • Current Australian Pilot Licence if the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997 applies to the licence; 
1. NZ Aircraft operating within NZ
  • Current New  Zealand Pilot Licence, 
  • Current Australian Pilot Licence
  • (if the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997 applies to the licence);
  • or a Current Foreign Pilot License authority and a Current validation permit.
