4.12.4 Solo Flight Requirements

1. Age
  • At least 16 years of age
2. Medical
  • Class 2 Medical Certificate or
  • DL9 Medical (Land Transport)
3. English Language
  • Sufficient ability in
  • reading,  speaking,
  • understanding and communicating
  • in the English language
4. Authorisation
  • First solo must be authorised by a
  • current Category A or B Flight Instructor
