4.32.18 Speed Limitation of Aircraft

1. Speed Limit - VFR
  • 250 knots IAS
  • below 10 000 feet AMSL
  • in Class C, D & G airspace 
3. Exceptions

 

  • If aircraft minimum safe speed is more than 250 kts AND
  • Operated at that minimum safe speed AND
  • if you are operating at an aviation event.
2. Speed Limit - IFR
  • 250 knots IAS
  • below 10 000 feet AMSL
  • in Class D & G airspace
